For example, an eshop may offer a discount coupon by requesting an email with permission.
An Insurer can offer a free eBook with Insurance Tips for free e.g. “How to choose the right Health Plan”.
The idea here is to offer something for free – that will bring the visitor one step closer to the solution they are looking for (and was originally found on your page).
Other ideas include a contest or a useful video.

By registering on such a platform you have a number of tools and features (not provided by Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)
For example, to create registration forms for your page, to send automated messages (auto-responder), to see how many opened your emails, how many clicked on a Link, and many other statistics and tools.
All these will help you improve your messaging, your interaction with your audience, and of course, your sales.

Follow-up. After you receive the Email, then what?
That’s when the Real Marketing begins. The goal here is to make the (unknown) visitor get to know you, find interest in your services and products, and ultimately trust you (Know you, Like you, Trust you).
Only then can he become your customer.

Be careful though. Do not send one offer after another. This will not work.
